    Is it comedogenic?

    Grass fed beef tallow is a 1 out of 5 in the comedogenic scale meaning it's a moisturizer that will not clog pores, cause breakouts etc. Its excellent for sensitive skin .

    What does it smell like?

    It has a unique "green and woody" scent because of our essential oils mixed with honey/beeswax. It's very light and will go away quickly. The tallow is odorless as it’s rendered, and we remove all impurities several times.

    Sensitive to essential oils?

    We understand some people are sensitive to essential oils. That is why it’s diluted to less than 1%. If you're still unsure we also offer a No Essential Oils Tallow & Honey Balm here.

    Is this helpful for acne,psoriasis, and eczema?

    Yes! We have customers whose symptoms have been alleviated since using tallow. Tallow is packed with omega-3 fatty acids capable of nourishing and strengthening the skin barrier as well as conjugated linoleic acid, the anti-inflammatory properties of which should improve the symptoms of acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

    Can I use it if I have oily skin?

    Yes. If you have oily skin, we just recommend using less. Tallow is very close to our skin’s natural oils and will still be absorbed by your skin very well.

      I’ve been using the Tallow and Honey Balm for a couple of weeks now and my skin is so soft and smooth that I can’t believe it’s my skin! A woman that I met in passing even complimented my complexion a few days ago…and I’m 66 years old with lots of sun exposure in my lifetime. This is an AMAZING product! Not greasy-SO soothing-and definitely softens wrinkles and fine lines.

      This is an amazing product. In fact all of your products are amazing! I have switched all of my skin and hair products to yours. My skin and hair both look and feel healthy. No more dripping and running eyes from chemical products. All of the products that I was using were dermatologists recommended. I believe that the chemical products were doing more harm than good. People have noticed a difference, but most importantly I feel and see a huge difference.
